Day 2 of Temple Sinai's border trip took our group to Ciudad Juarez. After learning about US immigration policies on the US-Mexico border, we played games and ate lunch with the residents of a local shelter. Then a visit to Mile Marker 1 walking back across the border to El Paso.

Temple Sinai's Border Trip is on! 18 congregants, including Rabbi Roos, are traveling to El Paso, Texas to learn about the complexities of immigration and the borderlands communities. Day 1 included Theology of Migration, Historic & Current Border Realities presented by a retired Border Patrol officer, Immigration Law 101, and a stop at a scenic overlook with a view of El Paso and Ciudad Juarez.
