💙💛 The DC, Delaware & Maryland District Council Stands Together! 💛💙

With hearts full of gratitude and expectation, we proudly support our Diocesan Bishop, Bishop Dr. LaMont Turner, as he ministers the Word of God during the Monday Night Communion Service at the 2026 PAW International Summer Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This is more than an opportunity to preach—it’s a moment to represent the faith, leadership, and Kingdom vision of the DC, Delaware & Maryland District Council before our international fellowship.

As our Bishop pours into the body of Christ, we ask our district family, friends, and partners to join us in prayer:

🙏 Pray for fresh anointing.
🙏 Pray for strength and wisdom.
🙏 Pray that every heart will be prepared to receive what God has ordained.
🙏 Pray that lives will be transformed through the preached Word.

Bishop Turner has faithfully led our district with vision, integrity, and a passion for advancing the Kingdom of God. Now, we have the privilege of standing behind him as he stands before the people of God.

If you’re attending the convention, let’s fill the sanctuary with encouragement and prayer. If you’re watching from home, lift your hands wherever you are and believe God for a mighty move during this sacred Communion Service.

DC, Delaware & Maryland District—we’re with you, Bishop!

May God continue to use you for His glory.

đź‘‘ RELEASE THE KINGDOM

What if the message wasn’t just for Friday night… but for your Monday morning, your ministry, your home, and your purpose?

Last night’s message by Bishop Dr. L. LaMont Turner challenged us to think beyond church attendance and embrace Kingdom living.

✨ Remember these powerful truths:

“The Kingdom of God contains God’s purpose, plan, and will for mankind in and on the earth.”

“The message of the Bible is primarily about the King and His Kingdom.”

“The Kingdom of God is within you.”

“We are called to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.”

This wasn’t simply a sermon—it was a Kingdom assignment.

As you reflect on these nuggets today, ask yourself:

How am I releasing God’s Kingdom through my words, my service, my worship, and my daily life?

đź“– Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

If you were in the service, share one Kingdom truth that stayed with you. If you missed it, take a moment to review these sermon nuggets and let God continue to speak to your heart.

Thursday Night Service Recap
Speaker: Bishop Barrington Smith, Diocesan of Canada District Council, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.

Thursday night reminded us that we are not just sitting in the Kingdom — we have a place in it.

Bishop Barrington Smith declared:

“I am the temple of God.”

“We are the carriers.”

“God is the one that qualifies me.”

“I’m not perfect, but I’m qualified.”

“I have a place in the Kingdom of God.”

What a powerful reminder: God is still building His house, and He is using living stones. He takes broken stones, prepares them, shapes them, and places them where they belong.

From 1 Kings 6:7, we were reminded that before placement, there must be preparation. God shapes the stone before it is put on display.

Every stone is different.
Every stone matters.
Every stone has a place.
Some stones carry more weight — but be not weary.

The foundation stone is what matters most. Other stones may shift, but when the foundation is solid, the building will stand.

God chooses the soul.
God prepares the stone.
God places the vessel.

God is still building His house.

Making Kingdom Impact: Developing People for Kingdom Assignment

Session Two reminded us that Kingdom work does not move through titles alone — it moves through people who are developed, discipled, trained, and willing to serve.

Pastor Jay Turner taught from Philippians 4:11-12 and reminded us that healthy churches do more than gather people. They develop people. They discover gifts. They deploy believers into ministry assignments.

This session challenged us to remember that every believer has purpose, but purpose must be shaped through discipleship, humility, mentorship, obedience, and the Word of God.

Pastor Turner gave us powerful nuggets to carry:

“Healthy churches develop people, discover gifts and deploy people for ministry assignments.”

“When you are developing in the ministry, you should sound like your pastor.”

“If we don’t have enough people to do the work… we go out and get souls.”

“Every person has a purpose!”

“Salvation gives us new life… discipleship gives us direction.”

“You must know your manual — the Bible.”

“Purpose is bigger than personal success.”

“It’s about making God’s Name great!”

What a reminder: ministry is not limited to the microphone. Not every call looks the same, but every believer carries Kingdom responsibility. We are called to share the gospel, love people, serve with humility, help make disciples, and keep our eyes on the prize.

And if we are going to serve in the Kingdom, we must know the manual. The Bible gives us direction, correction, instruction, and understanding for the assignment God has placed in our hands.

Romans 12:4-8 reminds us that we are many members, but we do not all have the same office. That means every gift matters. Every assignment matters. Every willing vessel matters.

Purpose asks a different question than success.
Success asks, “What can I gain?”
Purpose asks, “What can I give?”

This is bigger than a job. Bigger than a title. Bigger than personal achievement. This is a divine calling to serve God, serve people, glorify Jesus, and help move the Kingdom forward.

We have work to do.
