Dear family of God. This is Pastor Schiebel’s granddaughter Mary, (Ruth’s daughter). Martha asked me to reach out to you all as many there still remember their former pastor’s daughter. My mom has fallen gravely I’ll in the midst of her abdominal cancer fight. She spent last week in the hospital and has now moved to hospice. We are in the final days/hours of her life here on this earth. She is surrounded by her 4 children, husband, extended family, and church family. She already had her gravestone set up next to her beloved mother and father William and Clare Scheibel. Ruth’s children, Mary, Paul, Philip and John covet your prayers. There will be an obituary placed in the Washington Post.
