Remember the story of Achan! (Joshua ch. 7)

When we consistently mix/mingle with the spirit of the world, it will defile us. We then bring that spirit of impurity(Achan) back into our home life and church life. We can never truly hide wrong, it will stain and weaken godly relationships, church fellowship, and personal worship.

The solution for Israel was Achan had to be removed to reestablish God's presence and power among His people.

True repentance is the path to renouncing and eradicating the spirit and stain of "Achan".
