Season of Creation - Self-Guided Pilgrimage now open

Stroll through the campus gardens on a self-guided pilgrimage that begins in front of the Upper School. Each station pairs Scripture, art, and quiet reflection with this year’s theme of Living Water, inviting you to pause, pray, and consider our shared responsibility for creation. Walk it at your own pace — alone, with family, or with friends — anytime now through October 4, the Feast of St. Francis.

Volunteers Needed For August 8th Saturday Supper!

Saturday, August 8th marks the final Holy Trinity Saturday Supper co-coordinated by our long-time active parishioner, Mary Pelson. Mary is moving to Boston to attend graduate school at Harvard University. We can’t thank Mary enough for all of the love, care, and effort she brought to our HT family and the greater community we serve.

If you can participate in this 8/8 Saturday Supper, whether by dropping off an item or staying to serve it — and having a chance to thank Mary in person for her service — please sign up using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/ssaug2026 #/

With many parishioners traveling, our current sign-up numbers are low. Thanks for your consideration, and may God bless Mary Pelson!

Shroud of Remembrance and Solidarity:

We have been invited to join the interfaith effort hosted by the Franciscans and prayerfully inscribe the names of the 20,633 Palestinian children killed in Gaza on the Shroud of Remembrance and Solidarity. There are 3 pieces of the shroud, with a 2'x6' section in Washington, DC. It comes with a binder to mark names as they are inscribed.

The shroud is on display in the Chapel Hallway during the day from Wednesday - Friday and after 5:30PM Mass on Saturday, and then will be in McKenna Hall after Sunday Masses. We hope parishioners will make time to pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine and inscribe the shroud.

In honor of the 175th anniversary of the second Church building at Holy Trinity Parish in Georgetown, parishioners were asked to submit photos of their family members receiving sacraments in this sacred space. This compilation video is the result of that project.

Thanks to all parishioners and friends who submitted photos. While we were not able to use every photo that was submitted, we are grateful to everyone for your help!

The music in this compilation is the hymn commissioned to commemorate the 175th Anniversary, How Lovely is Your Dwelling Place by Tim Keyes and is played by Holy Trinity principal organist Justin Connors.

Church Building 175th Anniversary Mass

Saturday, June 13 | 4:00 PM, Church

While Holy Trinity Parish dates back to the late 1700s, our main Church building was constructed in 1851. Holy Trinity will celebrate the 175th Anniversary Mass of our church building at a special Anniversary Mass at 4PM this Saturday, June 13.

The Mass will conclude with a festive procession from the church to Georgetown Visitation that will start our annual parish picnic. (N.B. There will be no 5:30 PM Mass that evening.)

The celebration will include the premiere of a newly commissioned musical work by Tim Keyes, featuring the refrain: “How lovely is your dwelling, Lord, where thirsting hearts awake to grace; from living waters we are raised, one people, born to show your face.”

We give thanks for 175 years in this sacred building, remembering the thousands of disciples baptized in living water and sent forth as missionaries of the Gospel.
