Author Maura McGee on Faith, Hope, & Healing
Saturday, May 9 | 10:00 AM, McKenna Hall

Maura McGee, author of It is What It is: A Widow’s Journey of Seeking Solace Through Faith, Family, and Friends will join us for a conversation on Faith, Hope, and Healing on Saturday, May 9. Maura’s life turned upside down, when in the span of months, she found herself facing both the sudden loss of her mother and her husband, Dave’s, shocking diagnosis of a rare and aggressive cancer. One day after celebrating Dave’s 45th birthday, Maura was a widow and single mother of six kids. Hear how through faith and hope, she is finding acceptance and how to live in her family’s reality.
