Happy Children’s Day from Africa Faith & Justice Network Nigeria 💚

“Every child deserves love, protection, education, and the opportunity to dream without fear. Today, we celebrate the joy, innocence, and limitless potential of every child. Let us continue to stand against child labour, child marriage, and domestic servitude, while building a safer and brighter future for our children.”

A Child is a Gift not a Commodity

Every morning, 12-year-old Amara watched other children walk to school while she carried heavy loads from one house to another. Her dreams of becoming a teacher seemed far away.

Many people saw her working, but few saw the child behind the labor—the child whose laughter was fading, whose education was being stolen, and whose future was being threatened.

One day, members of her community began speaking out. Faith leaders, parents, and community volunteers came together to raise awareness about the dangers of child labour, domestic servitude, and child marriage. They reminded everyone that every child deserves protection, education, and hope.

Today, Amara is back in school. Her story is a reminder that change is possible when communities choose justice over silence.

Thousands of children are still waiting for their own chance.

Let us stand together to:
✅ End Child Labour
✅ End Domestic Servitude
✅ End Child Marriage
✅ Protect Every Child's Right to Education

"A child is not a worker. A child is not a bride. A child is a gift deserving of love, dignity, and opportunity."

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE BOY CHILD

Today, Africa Faith and Justice Network Nigeria celebrate the strength, dreams, talents, and potential of every boy child around the world. A boy child deserves love, guidance, quality education, protection, and equal opportunities to grow into a responsible and compassionate man.

Let us raise boys who respect others, speak with kindness, value peace, and become positive leaders in society. When we invest in the boy child today, we build a stronger and brighter tomorrow for families, communities, and nations.

Every boy matters.
Every dream is valid.
Every future deserves hope.

Happy International Day of the Boy Child! 💙👦🌍

Every child deserves more than survival, every child deserves a future filled with love, education, protection, and hope.

Sadly, Domestic Servitude, Child labour, and Early child marriage continue to steal the dreams of millions of children across our communities. Many children are forced into hard labour, denied education, abused in silence, or pushed into responsibilities far beyond their age.

A child is not a servant.
A child is not a bride.
A child is not a tool for exploitation.

As a faith-based community, we are called to defend the vulnerable, speak for the voiceless, and stand for justice. Protecting children is not just a responsibility it is a moral duty.

Today, let us choose protection over exploitation, dignity over silence, and compassion over neglect.

Together, we can create a society where every child is safe, valued, educated, and free to dream.

A child’s place is in school, not in labour.
Behind every working child is a lost dream.
