How do believers stay faithful, grounded, and spiritually strong in a world full of pressure, trials, and false teaching? In this WNBS: Foundations & Formation session, we explore the General Epistles—James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, and Jude—and discover how these powerful New Testament letters continue to shape the life, faith, and witness of the Church today.

The General Epistles offer practical instruction and spiritual encouragement for believers as they learn to live out their faith with wisdom, endurance, holiness, and discernment. James reminds us that true faith produces action. 1 Peter encourages believers to stand firm through suffering and live as God’s chosen people. 2 Peter warns the Church to grow in the knowledge of Christ and remain alert against false teaching. Jude calls believers to contend for the faith and stay rooted in God’s truth.

As we continue to build our foundation and shape our formation, these letters challenge us to move beyond simply hearing the Word and into living the Word. Through this study, we will reflect on key themes such as faith and works, perseverance, spiritual maturity, holy living, discernment, suffering, sound doctrine, and standing firm in the faith.

What happened on the Day of Pentecost, and why does it still matter for believers today? In this WNBS: Foundations & Formation session, we explore the powerful moment in Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit filled the believers, empowered the Church, and marked the beginning of a bold new witness for Jesus Christ.

Pentecost reminds us that God does not just call His people, He empowers them. Through the coming of the Holy Spirit, the disciples were strengthened to preach the Gospel, walk in unity, and carry the message of Jesus beyond the walls of the upper room.
