Each year, St. Augustine's honors the life and legacy of Justice Thurgood Marshall, who was a member of our parish while he lived in Washington, DC. On or near the anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision, we remember and celebrate Justice Marshall with a special worship service and a program featuring a guest speaker afterwards.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Janai Nelson, President and Director-Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund on June 2. All are welcome to join us for worship at 9:30am and then a special presentation by Ms. Nelson at 11am, with a reception to follow at 12 noon.
