An important encyclical came out from Pope Leo today. Note that the last pope named Leo came out with an encyclical addressing the Industrial Revolution called "Rerum Novarum" (On Capital and Labor), so it is apropos that our current pope has released a pastoral letter that underscores an innovation that will also fundamentally change humanity and its meaning.

From USCCB: "Let's not fear artificial intelligence, but constantly keep the question of the human in play."- Pope Leo XIV at the Presentation of Encyclical Letter Magnifica humanitas, on May 25, 2026.
