Over the course of this week, our Whitefriars Hall community has been participating in the CSP (Carmelite Studies Program) with other brothers from different countries. This year's theme is "Prayer in Carmel, Liturgical Life in Carmel, and Contemplative Prayer." We are very grateful for the presence of our brother John Mary, OCD, who has shared important topics in the daily conferences in our Hall.

The end of the academic year has come. Time to say goodbye for the summer. The members of our community will soon head out for summer assignments, language immersion, vacations, and more.
We especially say goodbye to Brothers Daryl (going home to Australia), Jonathan (first assignment in Trinidad), and Roberto (first assignment in Tucson AZ). Please pray for them as they enter this time of transition. We'll miss them!
Wishing all a blessed summer! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Some of us went to visit a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School (now Joliet Catholic Academy, a Carmelite and Franciscan school), Judge Bob Dow, in the Supreme Court of the United States. We had a very interesting visit, and even scored some baskets in the highest Basketball court of the country, right above the Great Hall.
