✨ Eternal Security – Our Salvation Rests on Christ, Not on Ourselves ✨
What a comfort it is to know that our salvation does not depend on our own strength, our performance, or our ability to endure. If salvation could be lost, none of us would have any hope. But God has not built our salvation on us—He has built it on His Son.
Jesus said:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone sn**ch them out of My hand.”
— John 10:27–28
Notice that Jesus did not say they might receive eternal life if they manage to hold on to it. He said He gives them eternal life, and they shall never perish.
When we came to Christ, we were not only forgiven—we became children of God. And a child does not cease to be a child because he stumbles or fails. In the same way, God does not cease to be our Father when we fall. He disciplines us, guides us, and restores us, but He never abandons us.
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
— Romans 8:38–39
Our security is not found in how tightly we hold on to Christ, but in how tightly He holds on to us. ❤️
This is not a license to sin. On the contrary, when we truly understand God’s grace, it produces love, gratitude, and a desire to live for Him. We do not obey in order to be saved—we obey because we already are saved.
✅ Salvation is by grace.
✅ Salvation is through faith.
✅ Salvation is God’s work from beginning to end.
✅ Therefore, the one who has truly trusted in Christ is secure in His hands forever.
All glory to Jesus Christ, who not only saves sinners, but keeps them until the day they see Him face to face. ✨🙏🏻
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 1:6 ❤️
