Higher Ground Tour — First Stop ✨
On February 1st, 2026, Capital Family Church was honored to welcome Rev. Demian Dunkley, North American Regional President of our movement, as the first stop on his Higher Ground Tour.
Rev. Dunkley shared firsthand insight and heart about Mother’s current situation, and more importantly, what we can learn from it and how we can move forward together. His message centered on a simple but powerful truth:
We stand on higher ground when we truly realize that we are God’s children first—before any title, role, or circumstance.
When we truly know our identity and learn how to walk with God in every step of our lives, real and lasting change becomes possible very quickly.
After the 4:30 PM service, Rev. Dunkley spent time with our youth, singing “We Are the World” together and taking a group photo. The evening continued with a community dinner, where he listened deeply to our thoughts, hopes, and vision as a church family.
Grateful for a night of reflection, connection, and renewed direction as we keep striving for higher ground.
