Most Rev. Bishop Jerome Feudjio, of St. Thomas in the Virgin Island, our main celebrant for the Opening Mass for ANEC 2023, was in Rome for the "baby bishop school," which was capped with an ”Encounter with Pope Francis".
His Grace also stopped in ADW on his way back home to consecrate our “Chorale Saint Esprit”, the multi-cultural choir
of our French-Speaking community of the parish of Saint Martin de Tours de Gaithersburg, and also joined us for a General Meeting preparing for ANEC.

"The formation course for new bishops, ... included talks on the topics of crisis management, especially in the context of abuse, social media, and canon law in diocesan administration. Other themes covered were the meaning of a synodal Church, education for synodal leadership, and the Church after the pandemic.
