کچھ دشمنان شیعہ نے علی علیہ السلام وصیت کے نام پر اپنی من گھڑت بات کو شیئر کرتے ہیں اور اپنے قیاس وہم اور خیالات کے ساتھ اس کے مفہوم کو بیان کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
اس لیے میں یہ وصیت نہج البلاغہ سے پہلے کی کتاب امالی شیخ طوسی سے نقل کر رہا ہوں

وصیتِ امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام

امام حسن علیہ السلام فرماتے ہیں: جب میرے والد کی وفات کا وقت قریب آیا تو وہ وصیت فرمانے لگے:

"یہ وہ وصیت ہے جو علی بن ابی طالب نے کی، جو محمد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ کے بھائی، ان کے چچا زاد اور ان کے ساتھی ہیں۔ میری پہلی وصیت یہ ہے کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد (ص) اس کے رسول اور اس کے برگزیدہ ہیں، جنہیں اس نے اپنے علم کے ساتھ چنا اور اپنی پسند کے لیے منتخب کیا۔ اور اللہ قیامت کے دن قبروں سے لوگوں کو اٹھائے گا اور ان کے اعمال کا حساب لے گا، اور وہ سینوں کے رازوں کو جاننے والا ہے۔"

"پھر میں تمہیں، اے حسن، وصیت کرتا ہوں، اور تمہارے لیے وصی ہونا کافی ہے، جس چیز کی رسول اللہ (ص) نے مجھے وصیت فرمائی تھی۔ پس جب میرا وقت آ جائے، تو اے میرے بیٹے! اپنے گھر کو لازم پکڑنا، اور اپنی خطاؤں پر گریہ کرنا، اور دنیا کو اپنا سب سے بڑا مقصد نہ بنانا۔"

(یہاں "اپنی خطاؤں پر گریہ کرنا" کا حکم امام حسنؑ سے بطور تعلیم دیا جا رہا ہے، حالانکہ امام حسنؑ معصوم ہیں اور ان سے کوئی خطا نہیں ہوتی۔ اس سے درحقیقت ہمیں سبق دیا جا رہا ہے کہ ایک مومن کو اپنی غلطیوں پر ندامت کے ساتھ اللہ سے توبہ کرتے رہنا چاہیے۔)

"اے میرے بیٹے! نماز کو اس کے وقت پر ادا کرنا، زکوٰة کو اس کے حقداروں تک پہنچانا، اور شبہات کے وقت خاموشی اختیار کرنا۔ میانہ روی اختیار کرنا، اور خوشی و غصے دونوں میں انصاف پر قائم رہنا، اچھے پڑوسی بننا، مہمان کی عزت کرنا، تکلیف میں مبتلا لوگوں اور آزمائش میں گرفتار افراد پر رحم کرنا، رشتہ داروں سے صلہ رحمی کرنا، مسکینوں سے محبت رکھنا اور ان کی مجلس کو اختیار کرنا، تواضع اپنانا کیونکہ یہ بہترین عبادتوں میں سے ہے، امیدیں کم رکھنا، موت کو یاد رکھنا، اور دنیا سے بے رغبتی اختیار کرنا کیونکہ تم موت کے قیدی ہو، آزمائش کا نشانہ ہو، اور بیماری کے ہاتھوں گرنے والے ہو۔"
