: This is how our Father wants us to be when we catch fish…. “Follow me….I will make you fishers of men” Matt 4:19 Jesus turned fishermen (Simon Peter and Andrew) into fishers of men. What did Jesus observe while walking along the Sea of Galilee? Did he see the skills they held to cast nets? Did he see their teamwork? Did he see their determination? Did he witness them bickering? Did he see their excitement for their catch? Did he hear their complaining? Did he see the tools (gifts) they used? Did he see their commitment? Did he see how willing they were to get dirty? Did he see their care for their catch? Did he see them laugh? Did he witness them agreeing to agree to disagree? Did he see them taking responsibility? Did he see them fight? Did he see them cry? Did he see them angry? Did he see them comfort? Did he see them share? Did he see them show love?……Have you ever just walked along some place and something or someone caught your eye and you stayed ficsated on until you were upon it? What did you observe in those moments with each step you took? The Bible never tells us how long Jesus had been walking before his focus was upon the brothers. It never tells us if he even stopped along the bank side watching/listening before he even spoke to them. But Jesus had observed them from a far until he was upon them. I am sure whatever he witnessed with ever step compelled him to call them to follow him. Never underestimates call to follow him. Before God approached you he has already witnessed things about you. With every step He has taken to get closer to you hasn’t left him questioning who you are. He has done His observation, nothing has been overlooked, and now, just as the bothers, are you going to be obiedient! There is excitement like no other when with your father doing his work!
