Over 1,000 Christian girls in Pakistan are kidnapped every year.

Many are forcibly converted to Islam and forced into marriage simply because of their faith. Some of these girls are only 12–14 years old.

One of them was Maira Shahbaz — a Christian teenager from Faisalabad who was abducted at gunpoint in 2020, forcibly converted, and married to an older Muslim man. After escaping, she went into hiding while continuing to face death threats.

At Ananias International, we are actively training and equipping vulnerable Christian girls and young women with practical safety education, awareness, and support to help protect them from trafficking, kidnapping, and forced conversion.

Pakistani Christian Sunny was reportedly abducted and brutally beaten for refusing to renounce his faith.

Even in the face of violence, he declared:
“Christ is my salvation, and I will never leave Christ.”

Around the world, many believers continue to suffer persecution for their faith in Jesus. Remember them in your prayers. Stand firm in faith. Speak with compassion and courage for those who have no voice.

Here in Pakistan, we’ve witnessed the quiet strength of believers, faithful in the face of pressure, risk, and even martyrdom. Their courage is real, and it’s humbling to see.

While many of us gather freely, our brothers and sisters in the persecuted church lift their voices under pressure, risk, and sacrifice—and yet they are not weak. They are victorious in Jesus Christ!

The Church isn’t shrinking. It’s refining. It’s rising. It’s strong.
