John the Beloved Old Catholic Church of Washington, DC. We are one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic church that serves LGBTQI+ and all communities in Washington, DC. No one is ever denied the seven sacraments and we minister to all regardless of race, creed, s*x, or marital status. Baptism, marriage, confirmation, eucharist, reconciliation, and anointing of the sick are available by appointment. Sunday Eucharistic services are broadcast live on Facebook at 8:30 a.m. If you are interested in receiving any of the sacraments, please contact Bishop Tom Wieczorek!

It is with great sadness that I share this news of our Presiding Bishop, Charles Braun. Bishop Charlie died last evening at about 10 p.m. from medical complications after suffering a fall at his home. I had the honor of anointing him and sharing food for his journey (in Catholicism called Viaticum) yesterday afternoon. I know that today he is no longer bound by a broken body but rejoicing in heaven! May his soul and the souls of all the faithful, departed rest in the hands of a loving father. See you soon, my friend.
