KALI SARAKOSTI! BLESSED GREAT LENT! This is the Orthodox icon of Christ knocking at the door, based on Revelation 3:20:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Christ stands at the door of the human heart and knocks. He does not force entry. Salvation in Orthodox Christianity is synergistic, the cooperation of divine grace and human freedom. In traditional versions of this icon, there is no handle on Christ’s side. The door can only be opened from within. This teaches that repentance and communion require voluntary response. The icon calls us to repentance, communion with Christ, and readiness to welcome Him into our life.

The Jews are preparing to celebrate “Nittel Nacht,” a parody of Christmas, where they mock the “hanged” with “latrines,” while reading “Toledot Yeshu,” a medieval story mocking the the Gospel which describes the life of Jesus, from birth to death, and is filled with blasphemous insults. Modern Judaism is not an "alternative continuation of the Second Temple religion, which evolved differently from Christianity,” but a false religion primarily built on rejection and opposition to Christ and Orthodox Christianity.
