During disaster recovery, we know survivors face unique challenges. The people most familiar with these unique challenges are often people living in the affected area. That’s why FEMA is now hiring local residents in the areas affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton. This effort is part of the agency’s local hire program.



FEMA’s local hire program consists of local residents who aid their community throughout the recovery process. Local Hire employees are hired into 120-day appointments and may be extended based on the needs of the disaster.



Many FEMA employees once started as local hires, and have made a career of helping people before, during and after disasters.

I just read in the WORD that GOD is refining me for HIS purpose!!! As I continue to show GOD no matter who, what, or where the attack I shall be ever mindful of the test, trials, and tribulations that I must go through in the refining and restoration process. I am spiritual mindful that I must not take offense in flesh no matter how horrible the attack my seem. Because I am covered by the matchless BLOOD of The LAMB the attacks of the enemy, know matter where it comes from can never, ever pe*****te the BLOOD of my LORD & SAVIOUR JESUS THE CHRIST!!! I signed on to be a soldier in the army of the LORD!!! And when one signs up for the battlefield for our LORD, you can expect attacks!!! And they shall come from people and places you would haver never imagined!!! I count it all joy, it's part of the training, refining and restoration process. As we all know you must be prepared for war!!! GOD would not just send you unless HE prepared you!!! In spiritual warfare we go up against Satan, we are no match for Satan in the flesh!!! It's Spiritual Warfare!!! So, we must fight the spirit with the spirit; The SPIRIT of the ALMIGHTY GOD!!! Greater is HE that is in me, than he that is in the world. 1John 4:4
We must not just read the scriptures, we seek the wisdom and knowledge of GOD to understand the scriptures. And pray for strength and courage to live by the WORD!!! THE WORD can only work in our lives when we live by it. But know for sure that true Christians will be persecuted, so says the WORD of GOD!!!
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Matthew 5:11

Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:12
