The 2023 JumpStart Jr. High Retreat was memory filled. It was filled with 80’s music, bunkbeds, the smell of feet, worship, Oreo’s dip in hot sauce, truth, wisdom, stickers, nachos, discussions, amazing billiards shots, picnic tables, the mafia, bears, power, prayer, cheeseburgers, french fries, ninjas, orange cones, hola hoops, co****le, ladder balls, 3 pointers, duck head hunting, climbing the tower, 3 person water balloon launchers, marshmallow fluff, a fire that “wood” not light, pizza, ice cream Saturday’s, mysterious chocolate covered gummy bears, Romans, presence, to many Rockstars, “the store”, sleep talkers, pancakes, some coffee, “it was not me”, words, “hold my communion juice”, being equipped Y’all, Amish Paradise, the race back to Millersville, and the long cuts on the way.
