At this year’s annual meeting it was decided to discard the old cement in front of and to the west and east of the church and pour a whole new sidewalk. Work is now underway on that project. Looking forward to a new walkway!!!!!

Please join us this Sunday morning, May 24th at 10:00 am as Birka Lutheran Church has its annual Memorial Day Services. Our guest speaker this year is former Washburn resident Dwayne “Dewey” Oster.
The America Legion Victor B. Wallin Post 12 from Washburn will assist in our program and graveside ceremonies.
A meal will be provided. Everyone is welcomed to attend.
