Wednesday Night is Family Night! 🍟🍦
Skip the cooking this week and join us this Wednesday evening! We have a delicious, kid-approved menu ready, and our amazing Children’s Ministry will help serve the meal.
Here is what’s on the menu:

🥗 Fresh Salad
🍨 Ice Cream Sundaes (Build your own!)
Dinner runs from 5:30-6 pm, followed by our evening classes for all ages: children's classes start at 6:00 pm; adults and youth at 6:30 pm.

Living boldly for Jesus means facing opposition. But here's the truth: you're not alone in the battle.

Jesus warned His disciples in John 15:18 that the world would hate them because it first hated Him. He didn't sugarcoat the reality—following Christ means facing persecution, criticism, and spiritual warfare. But He also promised something powerful: the Helper, the Holy Spirit, who walks alongside us, convicts us, guides us, and empowers us to stand firm.

The world may come against you for your faith, but take heart—Jesus has already overcome the world! The Holy Spirit isn't just a feeling; He's your constant companion, revealing God's truth and giving you strength when life gets hard. Be prepared, be faithful, and listen when He speaks to your heart.

Life Lesson 176,564.

I've had the same drill for over 13 years, and lately it’s been losing power. So I decided it was time for a new one. I did my research, found the model that would suit me best, and even checked prices. I found one that was about $15 cheaper than most other places.
Then I ended up on a tool auction site where one was being sold. I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay. But.... instead of sticking to that plan, I got caught up in the bidding. In the end, I paid what I would consider full price—and I overpaid compared to the deal I had already found.
From that, I was reminded of a simple but important lesson: we cannot allow our emotions to override facts. I knew I could get it cheaper. I knew I should stop bidding—but I didn’t.
Isn’t that often how we live as followers of Christ? We know what God wants. We know what we should do and how we should live. But sometimes we get caught up in the moment—our desires, our impulses, or the excitement of what’s in front of us—and it ends up costing us.
So I want to encourage you today: don’t live your life based on feelings or the excitement of the moment. Those things can lead you away from what is right (God's will) and cost you more than you realize. Instead, stay grounded in what you know God has said. Trust that His way is best—and choose to follow it, even when your emotions try to pull you in a different direction.
