Dear Parishioner of St Mary’s Wasco and St John the Baptist Grass Valley,

We would like to remind you that our Baker Diocese Bishop Thomas J. Hennen will be on hand this Sunday, May 24 for his first Pastoral Visit to our community, which will be marked by Holy Mass, the Confirmation of four parish youths and a Potluck Social hour /Reception.


The program will begin with the Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m and include the Confirmation of four parish youths by the Bishop.

The morning’s Celebration will include a Reception and Potluck immediately following, in our Parish Hall.


Because of the importance of the occasion and value of your presence in congratulating the conferees and greeting our Bishop we ask that you RSVP to Parish Council Member Mary Sallee or Katrina Burbank beforehand.( Thursday).

We are looking forward to this important event and hope you will join us in celebrating following Mass.
