GALA FOR OLD BOHEMIA
The Old Bohemia Historical Society is hosting a Gala on Saturday, April 22 to raise money for the ongoing restoration and preservation of St. Francis Xavier Shrine and the Bohemia Mission, located in Warwick, MD. The evening starts at 6:15 PM with an hors d’oeuvres reception and open bar at St. Joseph Parish Hall, 371 E Main Street, Middletown, DE. Music will be provided by the Tim Laushey Quartet. Guests are welcome to attend Mass at St. Joseph Church at 5:00 PM.

During this evening of food and music, a beautiful painting of the church by renowned local artist W. James McGlynn will be auctioned off. Prints signed in person by Mr. McGlynn will be available for purchase.
Several volunteers will be recognized for their enormous contributions of time, talent, and treasure to the efforts begun in 1953 by the founding members of the Society. Honorees include Lilia & Joseph Chaika, A. Bernice Dill, Mary Maloney-Wilson, Marji Matyniak, Herman J. Panacek, Jr., and Jane Krastel Williams.
