We will not have Church service tomorrow. Our area was it hard by Helene; we and most surrounding areas have no power, water, or cell service. There will be some folks from local Churches gathering in Mitchell at 11am if you would like to join.

Mineral Springs was very proud to honor our veterans by placing Wreaths Across America wreaths in our cemetery this past Sunday. The weather was not conducive to placing all Sunday, but they were completed today.

Thank you Mary Jo Kemp for facilitating this project, and Janice Yarbrough for carrying it out!

What a special day as Rev. Jonathon Renew was ordained as Pastor with his father and father-in-law part of the service.
Jonathan has been called to “Preach the Word”; we look forward to where he and Rachael’s service will lead our Church and to being their Church.

They live in Harlem, GA
Jonathon is an Infrastructure Engineer with Southstate Bank and Rachael is a makeup artist, and Founder of her business, Renew You Makeup Artistry.

FEELING DISCOURAGED, DEPRESSED OR EVEN DESPAIRING? Helen Howarth Lemmel experience the same when she was struck by a disease that caused her to go blind and as a result was abandoned by her husband. Yet amidst her situation she turned to Jesus and wrote over 500 hymns of praise and worship! This beloved hymn came out in 1922. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."
