What a blessing we had this morning. We are so thankful for this sweet momma and her wonderful daughter to be baptized this morning. We are excited to see how the Lord will guide them and equip them for His kingdom work.

What is Good Friday and why is it GOOD?
From the moment Jesus was born he was destined for the cross...all for each of us. As we were yet sinners Jesus died for each of us.

Good Friday had to happen for us to be able to go to heaven one day and be with our Creator . Jesus was turned into the Roman soldier by one His followers for 30 pieces of silver. Jesus was captured, beaten, spit on, stripped of his clothing. He had a crown of thorns placed on his head a cross laid on his shoulder to carry through the city to his death. People filled the streets to watch, some weeping reaching out. Others were cheering what he had already endured.

As the soldiers nailed Jesus on the cross, there was weeping, starring at Jesus and back to those on their knees weeping. As Friday closes and Jesus is laid in a borrowed tomd every one went home. There were Roman soldiers standing guard making sure no one entered or walked out of.

Good Friday comes and Jesus gave his life to pay for each of our sins. That night and Saturday was filled with stories remembering them of how Jesus was the son of God. Remember Friday happened B7T SUNDAY coming..

Mandy Thursday, why is this a special day during Holy Week. Jesus and his disciples are in the upper room. A passover meal was set before them, Jesus washed His disciples feet and dined with them. Jesus took the bread and broke it sharing it with them. Saying this is the bread that represents My body. He then took the wine and said this is my blood take and drink it. Christians refer to this meal as the Last Supper.

While the ate, drank, and visited Jesus knew that he would be betrayed by Judas...but he fed him anyway. Jesus was telling his followers of what would take place over the next few days. But they could not comprehend all of it, not till they saw the events in person.

Jesus took some of his followers and went off to pray, He knew what was to come. He knew and yet He was willing to fulfill His Father's will...
