World Mission 61 World Mission 61 This organization has a history and foundation deeply rooted in missions. Children were able to go to school for the first time.

The heart of this work began over forty years ago with John Reid, founder of The Reid Boys Home (orphanage) and thirteen churches in the country of Haiti. John had a passion for people and a drive to spread the message of Jesus Christ to as many as he could reach. In 2006, my husband, Ryan Helser, and I, Veronica Helser, became the Directors of Missions. I am honored to continue the work that my g

randfather, John Reid, began. With the help of many compassionate people, we instituted a primary school in one of the poorest areas in Haiti. Our mission was to educate children, giving them a better future, all while introducing them to the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, we continue to run the Christian school, going on ten years strong. We support three local pastors and one orphanage, taking needed supplies each time we travel to Haiti. We have a heart and passion for the people of Haiti, and we strive to display God's love each time we are there.

Tomorrow! You can still get tickets at the door. There’s going to be a DJ who will play all the fun dance slides, the chicken dance, and the train dance. There will be food and drinks. Most importantly, it will be quality time between a father and daughter, grandfather and granddaughter, or uncle and niece, which is so important in a little girl’s life.
