Two days of VBS have already flown by. We looked more closely at Jesus life to find out whether or not He was just an ordinary man and found that He was NOT. He was perfect and never disobeyed God.

VBS Day 1 was so much fun! We started seeking an answer to the question, "Who is Jesus?" He is the Messiah, the promised Son of God.

VBS starts TODAY!!!!! It is NOT too late to get any kids you know registered. We will have a table set up in Faith Hall where you can get it all squared away. Lunch starts at 12:30pm and Opening Rally is at 1pm. I can’t wait to spend the next week with all of the kids in our community as we search out the truth about who Jesus really is.

It's hard to believe our high school seniors officially leave the youth group in only two weeks!!! Our youth leaders are both heartbroken and so excited for them. Because the transition from youth group to adulting can be challenging as you try to figure out where you belong, we are excited to offer a college-specific Sunday School class during July and August. During July we will be working through the book A Different College Experience. In August, we will visit a couple of different Sunday School classes and small group Bible studies to find a group that each of our graduates clicks with and can find belonging with. Several books have been ordered, but if you are a recent graduate and/or you know graduates who would be interested in being part of this small group, please talk to Lora and/or call the church office so that we can be sure to have enough books for everyone.

7 days and counting! That’s all the time we have before VBS starts. If you haven’t guessed from the decorations, our theme this year is all about lights and shining a light on who Jesus really is. Our world makes it difficult to know what’s real and what isn’t, so we’re excited to offer our volunteers and kids an opportunity to learn more about Jesus, ask questions, and discover for themselves who Jesus really is.

This Sunday in refresh services we will be debuting a new song "Come, Let Us Return To the Lord" A call to repentance, but also an assurance that if we indeed repent God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
