Are you ready to get Judy’s Sweet Shop ALL DECKED OUT? We are looking for help to finish the deck at Judy’s Sweet Shop. September 1-4 (8:00a.m.-4:00 p.m.) we need 6-8 men each day to help build handrails, a ramp, and a roof. Please bring impact guns, screw guns, and saws. Thank you, we can’t wait to see you here doing labor for the Lord!

Who is already working on their cars? 🙋‍♂️

Come one...come all!, and join us at The Ridge (Baptist Ridge Camp). We will be holding a Pinewood Derby Race for kids and adults. So, put your best wood-carving and mechanical skills to the test and race against the best in the Association.

We will also be putting on a bake sale to raise money for the camp. Bring out your best cars and best desserts for good fellowship and a good time.

Date: Saturday, November 7th
Times: Registration at 10:00 a.m.
Opening Ceremony at 11:00 a.m.
Racing begins at 11:30 a.m.

The bake sale will be held in Judy's Sweet Shop. Some items will be in a silent auction while others will be listed with a price. Donations will also be gladly accepted during both events.

Car kits can be bought through the Awana Clubs Store, Pinewood Derby Website, and Pinewood Pro Website sites are listed below.

Car rules are as follows:
Width shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches.
Length shall not exceed 7 inches.
Weight shall not exceed 5 ounces.
Axles, wheels, and body shall be from the materials provided in the kits.
Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited
No lubricating oil may be used.
Axles may be lubricated with powdered graphite or silicone.
The car shall not ride on any kind of spring.
The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
No loose materials of any kind are allowed in the car.
