SO...the governor has shut down all church services as non-essential services. This will mean SSBC will have no services until April 7th.

That said, we love our AWANAs kiddos and their families! Please call the church or Alan at 217 617 3870 for any spiritual needs you might have!

To be consistent with closure of school during this period of time, we will NOT be having AWANAS for the remainder of March. We will reassess the situation at that time.

So, we are considering what to do with our AWANAs program during the time that all Illinois schools are closed. Alan will speak with the Elders at church tomorrow. We will update you all by early next week.

Despite Warsaw not dismissing early, we have decided to cancel AWANAS tonight. The snow is anticipated to continue into the evening, with a drop in the temperature. Please forward!

I must be a Tuesday evening because once again, we are hearing predictions for a few inches of snow tomorrow. Broken record time: No school or early dismissal at Warsaw school means AWANAs is canceled. As always, use your own good judgment and keep those kiddos home and safe, if you are concerned about road conditions!
