Thank you to Cindy Gackenheimer and her Coffee & Conversations group for providing today’s Community Kitchen lunch! We will be at Trinity (832 E. Center Street in Warsaw) every Wednesday (except for the first Wednesday of the month) until the Fellowship Hall renovations at Warsaw First United Methodist are complete. Trinity family, please pray for our siblings in Madison. Trinity UMC in Madison suffered a massive fire. They are assessing the damage today. Pray for the community, the responders, and their coming pastor and my friend, Rev Catherine Koziatek. She has been appointed to Trinity Madison beginning July 1st. She and her new congregation have a lot ahead of them.

Had a wonderful time of prayer today with brothers and sisters from across the Warsaw and Winona Lake area for today’s National Day of Prayer event in Rodeheaver auditorium. Thank you Margo for coming with me!

It's May the Fourth. May the Fourth be with you. (You knew it was coming from me!)
Even my daily devotion from Pastor Glenn references Star Wars today. However, I want to share it with you because he too takes a turn into scripture and Matthew 28:20, "And I will be with you unto the end of the age." I just used this scripture in our May newsletter (which you should be receiving in the next day or so.) In the meantime, it might be worth reading Glenn's devotional.

Soup Kitchen and Community Closet today at Trinity. It was our turn to fix the meal. Thanks so much to all of our Trinity volunteers who helped serve, clean, make food, grilled the hot dogs and to the folks from First church who continue to help with a little bit of everything!
