On the other hand, if you are expecting to come see a big bunch of perfect people, you'll be a little disappointed. We are regular folks who need a Savior and we've found Him: Jesus Christ, God's only Son! We desire to serve Jesus, know Jesus, and be like Jesus!

To most people God is no more than a distant, mysterious Deity that cannot be personally known. They say “certainly He cannot be experienced in a tangible way or become your friend. That is not what the Bible teaches and today we will find that He can be known and experienced because of who He is and not in spite of it. The Problem is that we aren’t willing to do what it takes to live in His presence.

Our Intimacy With God

Some Christians it is the most frightening and far fetched idea of their lives to be intimate with a Holy God. For most, Christianity is about doing and serving and following the rules. It is much more than that. Many believers are cheating themselves out of the very thing they were made for. Today we will examine the relationship that is the most important thing in your life and discover what real intimacy looks like.

In today’s culture where the “Church” has lost its appeal and importance to many; even among the membership, the world and the “Church” needs to hear how important the “true Church” really is to God. So many only come to special events and some only come when it is convenient. This robs them of the blessings that Christ promised to His Church and it robs the Church of their presence. Today we will continue to examine the Real, True Church and discover how wonderful it is to be a part something so great.
