For over 20 years now we have done this and Warrenville always shows up in a huge way!

Please watch for the Neighborhood Food Pantry Truck and our members and friends walking in the parade. You can donate non-perishable food items and/or cash. Everything will go to the Neighborhood Food Pantry here in Warrenville. If you don’t feel like taking your items with you to the parade, you can always drop them off outside of our doors!

Trinity is collecting school supplies for the 4th graders at Johnson School in preparation for the Block Party at Johnson School on Saturday, July 25 from 10 AM until 12 PM. We will be providing 50 sets of supplies. Other churches and organizations that are a part of Warrenville Persons in Ministry (WPIM) are responsible for a particular grade as well. The Wheaton Rotary is providing 300 backpacks. Monetary donations are welcome! You can talk to Jenny Pape if you have any questions.

Please put your donations in the bins marked School Supplies in the Mission Center. You can also leave any donations outside of our doors that face Curtis Ave in our donation bin. Every backpack needs the following:

1 box CRAYOLA Crayons - 24 count (regular size)
40 Pre-Sharpened #2 Ticonderoga wood pencils
2 Pink Pearl Erasers
1 Scissors - Fiskars (steel Blade)
8 glue sticks
1 Box CRAYOLA Washable Markers - Broad tip, Assorted Colors (8 ct)
8 Dry Erase Markers (low odor)
4 Spiral Notebooks (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 1 green)
1 package of index cards - size 3x5
5 folders (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 homework folder)
1 Pencil Box or case
1 Ziploc gallon bags (Boys)
1 Ziploc sandwich bags (Girls)
2 Wet Wipes
3 boxes of Kleenex
2 Black Sharpies
1 Box Colored Pencils (8 or 10 ct)
2 Yellow Highlighters
1 Ruler 12" Metric/Inch CLEAR PLASTIC (NO COLOR)
1 pkg post-it notes
