Central Grove United Methodist Church We are located about 6 1/2 miles north on highway A from the Truxton/Pendleton exit. Please join us for worship every Sunday morning at 8:45am.

We remember the life and ministry of our brother in Christ, Rev. Eugene Moeller, who passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026.

Even in retirement from full-time ministry in 2021, Eugene continued to serve the church he loved, most recently as pastor of Smith Creek United Methodist Church and Central Grove United Methodist Church in Warrenton. He previously served the California United Methodist Church in California, Missouri, from 2017 to 2021. He was a licensed local pastor and remained faithful in service until the end.

Please keep his wife, Pastor Marilyn Moeller, and their family in your prayers.

Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main Street, Warrenton, MO 63383 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Central Grove United Methodist Church.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Join us on Sunday, December 14, at Central Grove at 1:00 PM for a Christmas concert by Christmas Cheer, featuring trombones, drum set and piano. There will be lively Christmas tunes for all ages to enjoy, along with some carols to sing along. Refreshments will be served after the concert.

As this hunger crisis continues, this is the real situation.

➡️ AGAPE has already seen a 30% increase in families needing food

➡️ Food coming in from the USDA has decreased 64%

AGAPE is on the ground working so hard to meet the need. This community has been incredible, but the work is not done. We cannot without continued support.

We are so grateful to everyone who has been donating food during this difficult time. Together, we can help this community!

The latest news on the SNAP cuts is tough. The federal government has now said that they will not fund SNAP until the government shut down has ended.

What that means for local families is less food on the table, higher grocery bills and increased stress about feeding their family.

Our community can meet this challenge if we work together!

Food donations can be brought to AGAPE Monday - Thursday from 8-4 and Fridays from 8-2.

Our most needed items include:
- canned fruits and vegetables
- peanut butter
- ready-made meals (ravioli, spaghetti-o's, etc...)
- breakfast items
- dairy / eggs
- personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, etc...)
- canned meat
