We are assembling a team to create an unforgettable VBS float for the Warrenton Fair Parade!

We’re doing more than decorating a trailer. When our float rolls through town, we’re inviting children and families to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

WANTED: Creative minds, handy helpers, walkers & wavers, invitation distributors, and a few to ride on the float!

We need someone who has a trailer and barn/shed to store the float out of the elements while working. We need several people who would love to build/assemble the float. We need creative decorators. And we are also in need of walkers, riders, and people to distribute VBS invitations. Individuals can and are encouraged to participate in more than one area on the team!

Sign up today to serve and not only decorate a float, but be a part of reaching our community for Christ.

Parade is June 21st and we line up 2PM.

Roger’s message this Sunday was on Mark 2:1-11 and drew from the powerful scene where a group of men bring a paralyzed friend to Jesus, only to find the house too crowded to enter. Refusing to give up, they climb to the roof and tear it open, lowering the man down before Christ—an act that defines what it means to “raise the roof” through bold, determined faith.

Roger used this moment to emphasize the need for a genuine burden for lost souls. Just as the men refused to let obstacles stop them, believers today are called to care deeply enough to act—to push through inconvenience, fear, or resistance to bring others to Jesus.

Finally, Roger challenged listeners to surrender fully, giving Christ “the steering wheel” of their lives. When Jesus is in control, our priorities shift, and we become willing to do whatever it takes—even “raising the roof”—to see lives changed.
