“This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.” - Hebrews 8:10a
Does that mean you’re gonna wake up every morning and thank, “Wow, I cannot wait to read Leviticus?” Probably not.
But it does mean that the very thing that you're learning about, the very thing that you're studying, is written in your heart. It doesn’t mean that you’re not going to get distracted or discouraged, but that’s all happening in your mind. And where does Christ live? Where are God’s laws written?
In your heart, deeper than your mind.
Your heart that is sealed in the Holy Spirit, where you love God, and where you desire to learn about Him and these new things that you’ve become.
You aren’t fighting to love God better through study and prayer. Instead, you can trust Him when He says that he’s changed you on the inside, and you’re simply learning to express those new desires in your day-to-day life.
