POINTS TO PONDER: Leviticus Chapters 23 Discusses the Feasts of the LORD. The feasts are prophetic shadows fulfilled in CHRIST. We can see the Levitical connection of chapter 23 in these New Testament scriptures:
1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.

POINTS TO PONDER: Leviticus 17 The Sanctity of Blood: Leviticus serves to teach us that the life of the flesh is in the blood. As Christians, we should understand this as a "foundational truth" that should help modern day Christians understand communion, the cross, and the blood language of the New Testament. The Book of Leviticus isn't just some old Jewish "stuff" it's a reminder that we stand on a foundation built on the SON of GOD, the son of a Jewish carpenter, born over 2000 years ago and still living in each of us today. Leviticus is a "portion" of what helps us better understand what it means to live in the "will of GOD".
