In the coming weeks, we will have a special collection for the Southern Baptist’s Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

As we are about to celebrate Easter, we remember the incredible legacy of Annie Armstrong, a pioneer in missions whose dedication has shaped the landscape of Southern Baptist missions. Annie Armstrong’s commitment to spreading the Gospel led her to found the first “Easter Offering for Home Missions” in 1895. Her tireless work, particularly in the realm of supporting missionaries in North America, helped establish what is now the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

Annie’s vision was to create a platform for every believer to have an active role in missions. Her compassion, leadership, and perseverance resulted in the formation of the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and today, the offering she founded continues to support thousands of missionaries serving across North America.

Annie’s story is a reminder of the power of faith in action. Her legacy lives on in the many lives changed through the support of this offering, which funds critical mission work, church planting, and evangelism. As we give this Easter, we honor not only Annie Armstrong but the countless missionaries she helped equip for the Kingdom.

Let us continue her mission of faith, hope, and love—sharing the Gospel with those who need it most.

On the last day of our VBS, we learned to speak the truth in love. That means sharing the good news in a way that we will be heard. God gives us wisdom (and creativity) to be able to share His love and hope through the gospel even to the people we sometimes dislike or disagree with. ❤ God’s church is a training ground for sharing the gospel even with people different from us!

We sealed the day with lots of prayers and we enjoyed our free time outside with ice cream and popsicles! We all had a blast!

On our third day of VBS @ the Breaker Rock Beach, kids and adults learned that Jesus is the only way to get to heaven contrary to some beliefs that there are many ways to get to heaven. From John 14, Jesus tells his disciples while in the face of uncertainty not to let their hearts be troubled and to have faith in him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and He will guide us and bring us to the right place.

We are looking forward to our last day of VBS today and we ask that you pray with us that God seals the message of love and hope of the gospel to the hearts of all the participants. See you there.

Day 2 of our VBS got more exciting with a lot more kids and adults participating!!! Adventure continued and our kids explored tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock! Kids were challenged to discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. And because we learn and know more about Jesus, we also learn to trust that God’s plans are always best for us.

Our first day of VBS was an absolute blast @ the Breaker Rock Beach! The kids' exciting journey taught them to stand still and tall in God's rock-solid truth amid the changing waves of culture and popular opinions. They also learned the importance of Jesus in everyone’s life, and how to speak the truth in love.

We’re so excited for the rest of the week and all the amazing experiences yet to come. Stay tuned for more fun, faith, and unforgettable memories! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
