INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK —The starving Israelites found their physical salvation in manna, “a food unknown to your fathers.” We find our spiritual salvation in the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, a food unknown to too many souls. Blessed are we to partake of the Bread of Life.

"Lauda Sion" is a sequence prescribed for the Roman Catholic Mass for the feast of Corpus Christi. It was written by St. Thomas Aquinas around 1264, at the request of Pope Urban IV for the new Mass of this feast, along with Pange lingua, Sacris solemniis, and Verbum supernum prodiens, which are used in the Divine Office.

This weekend, we celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi.

May this beautiful feast draw us deeper into our love for Christ, who is truly present in the Eucharist.

See you at Mass!

As a parish community, we are always seeking ways to grow closer to Christ and to one another.
We invite you and your family to consider attending the Rising from the Ashes Revival on July 22, 2026, atHuntington Place in Detroit.
This day-long gathering is designed for people of all ages and walks of life. It offers a chance to step away from daily routines and enter into prayer, worship, and reflection centered on Christ and the Eucharist.
At the heart of the day is a simple truth we are all invited to live: Jesus leads, and we follow. When we follow Him, we find renewal, peace, and hope.
The day will include opportunities for prayer, inspiring speakers, music, and a Eucharistic Procession—offering a powerful witness of faith in the heart of our city.
This event is endorsed by the Archdiocese of Detroit and is open to all who desire a deeper encounter with Christ.
We especially encourage families to consider attending together, as a shared moment of faith and renewal.
