Our first official Family Fun Day was a bit cool, but the rain held off and we had great fun! Games of all sorts, colored kites, face painting, and delicious food! Thank you to all the Lighthouse of Warren church family for all you did to make this happen! Thank you to those who came out and joined in! Let's live life together ⛪️

I AM A SOLDIER

I am a soldier in the army of my God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer.
The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.
Faith, Prayer, and the Word are my weapons of Warfare.

I have been taught by the Holy Spirit,..trained by experience,..tried by adversity,..and tested by fire.

I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity.
I will either retire in this Army or die in this Army;
But, I will not get out,..sell out..be talked out..or pushed out.

I am faithful, reliable, capable, and dependable.
If my God needs, me, I am there.

I am a soldier.
I am not a baby. I do not need to be pampered,..petted,..primed up,..pumped up,..picked up,..or pepped up.

I am a soldier. No one has to call me,..remind me,..write me,..visit me,..entice me,..or lure me.

I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place,..saluting my King,..obeying His orders,..praising His name,..and building His Kingdom!

No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy, or give me
handouts.
I do not need to be
cuddled,
cradled,
cared for,
or catered to.

I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me
around.
I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside.
I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit.

When Jesus called me into this Army, I had nothing.
If I end up with nothing, I will still come out even.
I will win.

My God will supply all my needs.
I am more than a conqueror.
I will always triumph.
I can do all things through Christ.

Devils cannot defeat me.
People cannot disillusion me.
Weather cannot weary me.
Sickness cannot stop me.
Battles cannot beat me.
Money cannot buy me.
Governments cannot silence me, and
Hell cannot handle me!

I am a soldier.
Even death cannot destroy me.
For when my Commander calls me from this battlefield,
He will promote me to a captain.

I am a soldier, in the Army, I'm marching, claiming victory.
I will not give up.
I will not turn around.
I am a soldier, marching, Heaven bound.
Here I stand! Will you stand with me?

From a Pastor's perspective...
For those who do not know Jared Smith let me introduce you. He has quite the inspiring testimony. I will share here only in part, but he has so much more to share than just this small story.

Brother Jared would come to the church when we first began in the store front. He struggled for many years with debilitating anxiety. So severe it caused him to be reclusive and entirely homebound. Putting a strain on all his relationships as well as him working. He also suffered from rheumatoid arthritis that crippled his body during major flair ups. Yet, when the store front church opened he began once again to come to church even though it had been off and on for several years prior. When he would come and speak you could see God wanting to move mightly for him and through him. The anointing on his life was growing and could be seen by those like myself watching him step into all God had for him.

As we established the church ministry he stepped into what God had laid in his heart in ministry. Since September of 2024 he has become faithful to the house of God. Leaving behind the social anxiety and being home bound. God has healed and moved for him in amazing ways both phsically and emotionally. He is now back to the gym lifting and building strength not just in his body, but also in the body of Christ as he ministers and helps within the church. God is continually moving for Brother Jared in all ways as he is growing in Jesus.

This is the goodness of God that meets us where we are and draws us to Him to show us His abundant love and grace! He is a miracle working God and is no respector of persons! What He does for one He will do for another! As a pastor it is amazing to see as God moves among us and heals and makes whole! The goodness of God is pouring out and we are blessed to be children of the Most High God! Just know God healed Brother Jared and can do it for you too! He sets us free and brings a peace and joy that only comes from Him! Come and see what God will do for you where love introduces hope.

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28&29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Though your journey has been hard and life has been rough. Jesus is still calling us to Him today. There is a peace that only He can give. A joy found in Him that nothing else can compare. Come see what He has just for you!
