He is coming for a people that are simply receiving AND accepting His Word. As Peter so wisely put it, "Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life." Indeed Jesus Christ did have the words of life, and his early followers preached those things adamantly. Over time however, the context began to change and vain philosophies and traditions took priority over the original Word. The
earliest Christians understood that Christ is the only one God. They baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Over time, that truth was slowly eroded away and the name was replaced by mere titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The earliest Christians understood that there are two different seed lines: one from the serpent, and one from Adam. Yet over time, the fruit that the woman took in the Garden would be reduced to a story of eating a literal fruit off of a literal tree rather than the s*x act it really was between the woman and the serpent. The earliest Christians looked for the Spirit of Christ to come and live inside of them, rather than looking for the gifts of the Spirit. The gifts would come with It. The emotion would come with It. Once again, over the process of time, the emotions and gifts would take the spotlight, while the actual giver was placed backstage. God promised he would send an "Elijah" prophet in Malachi 4:5-6. While many would say that John the Baptist fulfilled that roll, we must understand the Angel that spoke of John the Baptist said he would turn the heart of the fathers to the children. It would be another individual with that same spirit of "Elijah" that would come later and turn the heart of the children (us) [back] to their (apostolic) fathers. Thus, the very simple truths that were slowly covered up, have once again been restored (revealed) to us today so that we may worship God in Spirit and with the fully revealed truth once again. As Jesus said, "Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things". John the Baptist would only prepare, the next individual would restore. Through the ministry of a God-vindicated prophet, William Branham, 1909-1965, Jesus Christ was once again revealed and is coming back for His many-membered Bride to take her away to a wedding supper.
