Joel Delp will be with us at Pleasant Community Church on Sunday, Oct. 11, both during the Sunday School and Worship hours 🤗. And this is the same Sunday we officially Kick-Off Operation Christmas Child Shoebox. Did you know that the very children we and missionary, Joel, loves, supports, and serves at the Santiago Children’s Home in Cayambe receive OCC boxes 😊?

Our 2026 Back-to-Church Autumn Rally kicks-off with a TAILGATE PARTY in the Church Parking Lot / Pavilion THIS SUNDAY, Sept. 6, 9:45 am. Be sure to dress in your favorite sports team... Dragons, Knights, Bills, Steelers, Pirates, Sabers, the Columbus Sliders Pickleball Team 😊. Prizes will be given out to the “Best Dressed Fans” and “Best Team Cheers.”

Breakfast is being prepared and served by PCC – Men Ministries on the Blackstone Griddle and open fire. On the menu... Home Fries, Scrambled and Fried Eggs, Sausage, Fruit, Yogurt, and Roasted Doughnuts over the Campfire.

After breakfast, we will meet our dedicated and outstanding volunteers who are anxious and ready to begin our fall lineup for both the Sunday morning hour prior to worship and during the week, mornings and evenings.

We will remain outside, weather permitting, for our final outdoor worship service for the season, beginning at 11:00 am.

Last evening, Madilyn Dawn Hall and Abbie May Yeager presented themselves for baptism ✝️🤗. Madilyn is the daughter of Aaron Hall and Samantha Bines. Abbie is the daughter of William Yeager and Holly Yeager. We are grateful to Aaren and Scott Keller for hosting ❤️.

Please remember Adam, Laci, Rylan, Alex, and the Meneo family in your prayers. Adam's mother, Barbara, passed unexpectedly in her home on Monday, Aug. 24. Barbara trusted in the Lord for salvation so we praise the Lord for welcoming her Home!

As I'm here sitting in my house, enjoying my first cup of coffee, my neighbor's son just passed by, on his way to catch the school bus at the end of the street. Please use caution and stop for those school buses and students ❤️. It wasn't too long ago, I was seeing off my own eight children 🤪. This is the first year Dawn and I haven't had a child in school since the year 2000 🥲. Enjoy every minute! I remember those first days and weeks being crazy! I believe the arthritis we both suffer in our hands today was caused by all that paper work we had to fill out each school season 🥴. On that first day back, I remember some of our own children being filled with such excitement to reconnect with friends, and others quite anxious.

Join me today, and throughout this school year, thanking God, praying, and supporting our students, teachers, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, administrators, and volunteers.
