You're invited to a special day of worship and celebration on Sunday, August 23, at our 10:30 worship service! ❤️

Join us as the churches of the Northeastern Mahoning Valley Cooperative gather together to officially welcome Pastor Lisa Courtright into this new season of ministry. 🙌 We'll worship as one church family, celebrate this exciting new beginning, and enjoy a time of fellowship together.

After the combined worship service, everyone is invited to stay for a potluck luncheon and praise service! 🍽️🎶 It's a wonderful opportunity to meet Pastor Lisa, connect with members of our sister congregations, and celebrate the ministry we share.

If you're part of the Howland UMC family and would like to contribute, we're asking our congregation to bring desserts. 🍰 If you'd rather make a side dish or potatoes instead, we'd be grateful for those as well—just let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Whether you're bringing a favorite recipe or simply bringing yourself, we'd love to have you join us as we welcome Pastor Lisa and celebrate this exciting new chapter together. 💙

While you're out shopping at the 2026 HUM Garage Sale, make sure to visit Dirty Birdies Soda for their Heavenly Sips at HUMC event! They will be set up at our sale serving delicious beverages.

20% of their Proceeds and 100% of any Tips will be donated to HUMC Tiger Backpack Program. This program fills the gaps for children who are experiencing food insecurity in our community.

Today is the LAST DAY to donate your junk! 🎉

Yes... we're talking to you. 😄

That lamp that's moved with you three times but still hasn't been plugged in.

That serving platter you've been saving for "the right occasion" since 2009.

The bread maker, extra end table, holiday decorations, exercise equipment, or whatever else is taking up valuable real estate in your house.

Today's the day to let it go!

Bring your donations by the church anytime before 8:00 PM today, and we'll find them a new home at our Heavenly Trash Garage Sale. Our volunteers will sort, price, and display your treasures so someone else can enjoy them.

Your clutter could be someone else's perfect find. So rescue that lamp from another move and send that serving platter off to fulfill its destiny. 😂

We know you've got more. 😏

That lamp you never use. The extra kitchen gadgets. Home décor that's been sitting in the basement. Sporting goods. Furniture. Housewares. The "I'll deal with it someday" pile. Now's the time!

We're filling up for our Heavenly Trash Garage Sale, but we could still use MORE great donations.

📦 Drop-offs are welcome daily from 9:00 AM–8:00 PM.

🚚 Need a pickup? Tomorrow (Saturday, 7/18) is the LAST day to schedule one, so call the church office as soon as you can.

⏰ The final day we'll accept donations is Tuesday, 7/21. Help us out by getting your items here so our volunteers have time to sort, organize, and price everything before the sale.
