Fresh Start / Re-Entry:
A recently added program for inmates that encourages changes of behaviors often leading to incarceration. The individuals are eligible 180 days prior to release and continues 6 months following release. The intention is to provide direction and the resources for acquiring affordable housing, employment, skills training, drug and alcohol treatment, financial planning a

nd entrepreneurship training. Those involved include, pastors, community leaders, police and parole officers, and financial advisors. Amachi Program:
Free Indeed Ministries initiated The Mahoning Valley Amachi, which is a model of the originating Amachi founded by Dr. Wilson Goode of Philadelphia. The program provides mentorship for the children of incarcerated parents. The cycle continues in 75% of children with incarcerated parents and our goal is to help break this cycle and restore normalcy within the family. Video Production/Training:
Level one: introduces individuals to the basic use of video cameras. Level two: Teaches the operation of television cameras and editing video. These classes are provided in collaboration with Buckeye Digital Video Company. The purpose is to empower individuals returning to society and provide job skills for a successful transition. Internship is also offered post release. Small Engine Repair:
Basic theory in terms and definition of the two and four cycle engines with low horse power. Four stroke cycle engines include training in intake, compression, power, and exhaust stroke. Fundamentals of Electronics:
Basic training in electronics progressing to more advanced training classes for currently imprisoned men and women.
