Jesus did not give us a date for His return, but He did give us His promise that He will return.
In 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul reminds believers that just as Christ came into a dark world to bring light, we have been called to continue that work as children of the Light. While we wait for His coming, we are not called to idleness or complacency, but to faithful service, steadfast hope, and holy living.
When Christ returns, He expects to find His people watching, working, and walking faithfully with Him. For those who persevere, there is the promise of eternal life. For those who neglect their calling, there is a sobering warning of judgment.
Join us this Sunday as we explore the life we have been called to live in Christ, encourage one another to stay the course, and fix our eyes on the glorious prize that awaits all who remain faithful to the end.
