North Mar Kids Our passion is to partner with parents in guiding children on their personal spiritual walk with Jesus.

We are committed to teaching each child that Jesus loves them and wants a relationship with them.

• Sunday Morning Classes: 9:00 AM & 11:00AM

• KidsZone Wednesdays: 6:30PM - 8:00PM

• Indoor Playground (M, W, & Th): 10:00AM - 12:00PM Through each aspect of our ministry, we desire our children to have attitudes springing from their hearts that express their love for God through singing, obeying G

od's Word, praying, loving Him, praising Him, loving others, and giving. The goal of all aspects of our ministry to children is to instill in every child the truth of God's love for them and the importance of His infallible, living Word. This guidance includes worshiping God, praying, reading and memorizing His Word, making choices that please God, serving others, and sharing the Good News with friends and family members. Community Minded: Our Indoor Playground is available for free play August 21, 2023 - May 30, 2024 three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00AM until 12:00PM.

Our Sunday school classes learned about the Tower of Babel this past week! Genesis 11:1-9. God instructed the people to fill the earth, but instead, they gathered in one spot and built a tower to make a name for themselves. God protected them by confusing their language and scattering them across the earth. The main Brite idea for this week is: No one is greater than God!

This past Sunday our classes learned how we are created in God’s image. They’re working their way through the Creation story. ☀️ At home you can teach them this concept through a game of Mirror Images. (Face each other and try to copy each other’s movements.) It can get really silly for sure!! 🤪 Read Genesis 1:27 with your family afterwards and discuss why all people are special and valuable to God. The answers your kids come up with may surprise you. ❤️

🎉 August starts another month in our Sunday lessons…. And it starts in the beginning of the Bible.
The monthly memory verse is from Colossians 1:16: “By Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth…all things were created through Him and for Him.”

This past Sunday, the kids heard the Creation story from Genesis 1, the main idea being the “God is the Creator of everything.”

Take a walk with your kids outside this week… when the sun is shining and the birds are chirping… or run in the rain. Talk about the beauty of God’s creation and pray a prayer of thanks as you go. ☀️🌳🐦‍⬛🌦️

Our lesson this past Sunday taught us that God does good things for His people. The children learned about how Jesus fed the 5,000 and provided for His followers. As you sit with your families this week, read through Psalm 136. Write your own version of the psalm. Keep the refrain and add the good things that God has done for your family! In our classes this past Sunday, the lesson focused on Psalms of Trust, and the truth that “God is our Good Shepherd!” Psalm 23 is a perfect illustration of how God protects and leads us through the scariest and toughest times of our lives.

AT HOME ACTIVITY:
Read Psalm 23 aloud. Whenever the words “I,” “me” or “my” are used, replace them with each family member’s name. Discuss how it helps you knowing God is your Shepherd.
