Peace in the Midst of Chaos!!
All we have to do is turn on the news and see that the world is in a state of trouble. With all of the knowledge at our disposal today, we still are having trouble solving the chaos that surrounds us on a daily basis. We wake up of day after day to increasing violence in our streets, murder in our communities, hate and racial tensions, families struggling to take care of their families, not enough money to meet your families daily needs. We ask ourselves will the madness ever stop? We all seem to face these struggles on a regular basis. We look to every resource available and still no answers.
I have found with all the negative stuff going around us. There is a better solution to all of life's problems.
I find my peace in God's word, the Holy Bible.
As I read and study God's word, He unfolds the answers to all of life's problems that we will face in today's society and culture.
The number one cause of life and societal failure starts with sin. When sin entered into the world through Adam and Eve way back in Genesis, because of their disobedience to God.
Sin and failure came upon all of mankind. Scripture says we will work and labor by the sweat of our brow.
As stated above, that we can have peace in the midst of chaos, and there is a way to find peace.
"Jesus said this; I am the way, the truth and the life"
If you desire to have this peace in your life. Jesus will bring clarity and understanding to your life.
Just I did over fifty plus years ago.
Pray this simple prayer and mean it with all of your heart and Jesus will give you new life.
I ask you, Jesus to forgive me of all of my sins, come into my heart and be the Lord and Savior of my life.

This morning as I was preparing my message for Sunday Service. I was reminded of a message that I heard years ago from my friend, mentor, and Pastor, Rev. Stanley W Scott. And I quote; If you want love, show love. If you want friends, be friendly and if you want respect, be respectful.
He is with the Lord in heaven now and I'm so grateful for all that he taught me and others. He wasn't a perfect man, but what I learned from him is this. Always follow the Word of God, first and foremost and let the rest go. In writing this, I remember his wife JoAnn and her kindness and labor of love to others too. They both had a great influence on who i am today, as well as many others.
If I could offer one piece of advice to everyone. Always follow Jesus and His word and you will never fail. Never put your trust in man, because we are all subject to make mistakes, as the bible clearly says.
My prayer for you all today is, that you would trust God with your life and follow all of His ways. Trust God and His spoken word and He will never fail you.
For those that do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior today.
This simple prayer can change your life forever.
Jesus I know that I am a sinner and I've made a lot of mistakes. I ask you now to forgive me of all of my sins, come into my heart and be Lord and Savior of my life.
If you prayed this prayer and mean with all heart. Go and tell someone about your decision to follow Christ. Get into a bible believing local church and share with them of your new found faith in Jesus Christ.

On July 4th 2026 we will celebrate 250 years as a nation. With all the many problems that we have experienced over the many years
I'm am proud to be an American citizen of this great nation.
I was born in the United States and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I'm previleged to live in a country where I have freedom to worship God openly without threat of persecusion and attend the church that I choose.

Hope you all had a great Mother's Day service yesterday! Always a special time of honoring our mothers and mothers to be.
It's a blessing to hear from others about their love and appreciation for their mom's. You just never know the memories that people will share when speaking about their them.
As I look back and remember my mother and mother in law. I'm reminded of how blessed I was to have them both in my life.
I'm grateful for the life lessons learned from them and one day will see them again.

Love and miss them both very much!!
