Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this nation. On this Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy each day.

We remember the soldiers who never made it back home, the families who carry their memories, and the heroes whose legacy continues to live on through generations. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13

Today’s sermon was: “Make the Word Make Sense.”

Sometimes the Word of God can feel difficult to understand when we are facing real life situations, heartbreak, confusion, pressure, or pain. But as we journey through life, we must learn to make the Word make sense in our own walk and apply it to what we are facing daily.

One thing we know for sure: God’s Word never changes. If He said it, it shall come to pass. His promises are still true no matter what life looks like around us.

Today, we made it make sense by choosing to praise God in the middle of everything we are going through. No matter the burden, the battle, or the circumstance… we still lifted our hands, opened our mouths, and gave God glory. The praise could not be stopped!

Because when you truly believe His Word, your situation may not change immediately… but your faith, your strength, and your praise will.
