⚠️ Believers/Christ Followers…
⚠️Long post 😬

Sitting here studying and the Holy Spirit brought this to my attention:

There are certain practices in the Bible that are authorized for believers to engage in, and then there are practices that are strictly prohibited.

Any practice/routine in which the Bible prohibits is for good reason: to protect God’s children from spiritual error, emotional damage, and even physical devestation.

For instance:

🛑Necromancy is an art or practice of calling or consulting upon those who are deceased for answers/knowledge/wisdom/insight.

🛑Clearly, the Bible prohibits this practice as it is a form of what I would call “dark” arts or practices, which are rooted in the twisted/perverted system of satanic practices.

📌It is my personal belief that many who operate in the satanic practice actually has a gift from the Lord - but it has not been submitted to the Lord nor redeemed by the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, they can tell you stuff - but it is not going to FULLY align with the scriptures and what the Word tells us is the criteria for prophecy (I Corinthians 14:3; Rev. 19:10 to reference a couple out of many verses; and I’d encourage you to scour the Bible for scriptures that deal with the Holy Spirit and His function, prophets and their profiles, and the what prophecy really looks like - which is embodied in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ). Further more the motivation of one operating in this kind of dark art, is for self gain and does not point back to The Gospel message.

📌We have to learn and know the difference between one who is prophesying from a different source other than Jesus Christ, Spirit of the LIVING GOD.

📌Further more, Christ wouldn’t have us to be ignorant, period. We have to know the origins in which certain practices are derived to assist us in not falling into spiritual error.

⚠️ Again, this is for the Believing Christ Follower.
