The wilderness teaches us to depend on God, but the blessing reveals whether we will continue to remember the One who brought us through. When we are walking through difficult seasons and there does not seem to be enough, we recognize our need for God because we know that we cannot make it without Him. However, when God opens the door, provides what we have prayed for, and allows us to step into the promise, we face a different kind of test. We must decide whether we will remain just as faithful to God in seasons of abundance as we were in seasons of adversity.

Temporary circumstances cannot cancel the faithfulness of an eternal God. When God has spoken a promise, we can trust that He is faithful to perform what He has said, even when what we see around us does not yet look like what He promised.

Whether you are walking through the wilderness or experiencing the blessing, continue to trust God, walk in His Word, and remember who brought you this far. If God was worthy of your faithfulness while you were waiting, He is still worthy when you are walking in what you prayed for.

Stay faithful, stay fired up, and stay the course, because God has never stopped being faithful to you. 🙌🏾

It is easy to say that we trust God when everything is going well, but life does not always give us comfortable conditions. Sometimes plans change, prayers take longer to be answered than we expected, and we find ourselves dealing with things we never saw coming.

Those moments can tell us a lot about where our faith really is.

When life puts you under pressure, pay attention to where you turn. Do you immediately assume the worst, or do you make room to pray and trust God in the middle of what you are facing? Faith does not mean that you will never feel overwhelmed or uncertain. It means that even when you do, you know where to take it.

This is also why having the right people around you matters. Sometimes you need somebody who will pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of what you already know about God when the pressure makes it hard to remember.

Whatever you are facing right now, do not let the pressure have the final word. Keep trusting God, keep praying, and stay close to people who will help you remain grounded in your faith. ❤️

Jesus’ parable of the wheat and the tares reminds us of a truth that can be uncomfortable to hear: everyone in the room ain’t His. The wheat and the tares grew in the same field, and for a time, they looked so much alike that separating them too early could have damaged the wheat. In the same way, people can be in the same church, hear the same Word, say “hallelujah” at the right time, and raise their hands during worship, yet those outward expressions alone do not tell the whole story.

That is why this teaching should cause us to examine ourselves before we start examining everybody around us. The point is not for us to walk through church trying to decide who is wheat and who is a tare, because Jesus taught that they would dwell together until the harvest. At maturity, what they truly were would become clear, and the Lord would handle the separation.

There is a difference between looking the part and truly belonging to Christ, and that difference is not always obvious from what we can see on Sunday morning. The wheat and the tares may share the same field for a season, but the harvest eventually reveals what outward appearance cannot.

So instead of being consumed with figuring out who is real and who is not, we should allow this Word to turn our attention inward. When the harvest reveals what is genuine, what will it reveal about you? 😄

Following Jesus should shape more than what we believe on Sunday. It should shape the way we live when Monday comes.

It looks like keeping your heart on fire for Jesus when life gives you plenty of reasons to become distracted. It looks like having enough childlike faith to trust God even when you do not have every detail figured out. It looks like choosing obedience when comfort would be easier, and it looks like surrounding yourself with people who love you enough to keep pointing you back to Jesus.

None of us gets this right every day, but that is the beauty of walking with God. He keeps growing us, challenging us, and teaching us what it means to follow Him with our whole lives.

So yes, a life that is genuinely being shaped by Jesus is kinda iconic. 🤎

There is a big difference between being confident in who God has called you to be and feeling like you constantly have to prove yourself to the people around you. When you know that God’s approval is what matters most, you do not have to spend your time trying to convince everyone that you are smarter, better, or more important than somebody else.

That is why confidence and humility can exist together. Colossians 3:12 tells us to put on kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, but that does not mean God is asking us to become timid or unsure of ourselves. You can be confident in who you are while still understanding that you are no better than your neighbor, because Scripture reminds us that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

When we really understand that truth, it changes the way we treat people. We become less concerned with comparing ourselves to others or proving that we belong, and we become more willing to extend kindness, patience, and grace. We can walk confidently without looking down on anyone because our security does not have to come at somebody else’s expense.

When you know that your approval comes from God, you can genuinely say, “I have nothing to prove.” So as you go through your week, consider whether your confidence is allowing you to walk humbly with others or whether you are still trying to prove something to them. 🙏

When we call a place “holy ground,” we are not talking about the building, the stage, or the room. We are recognizing what happens when we become aware that God is present with us.

That awareness changes the way we worship. It reminds us that we did not gather simply to sing familiar songs or go through the motions of another service. We gathered to turn our attention toward God, to make room for Him, and to respond to who He is.

Moses was standing in an ordinary place when God told him that the ground beneath his feet was holy. The ground had not suddenly become different; what made the moment different was the presence of God.

Sometimes we need that same reminder. God can meet us right where we are, and an ordinary moment can become a holy one when our hearts recognize His presence.

May we never become so familiar with gathering together that we lose our wonder for the God who meets us there. 🙌
